Bonnie Hyde was born and raised in Chongqing, a Chinese mega municipality of 30 million. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a bachelor’s degree, majoring in Economics and Accounting, minoring in Chinese. On the business side, she has over 17 years of experience in individual and business taxation, business management, project management, as well as over 15 years of experience in real estate investing.
Bonnie's graduate level studies focused on Educational Psychology, where she designed training programs and consulted with adult educational institutes in Los Angeles, Shanghai, Macau, and Hong Kong.
Bonnie is fluent in Mandarin and English, as well as conversational in Spanish. She has had the opportunity to study and live in Europe, and has traveled and volunteered throughout various Asian, Central American, and European countries.
Outside of real estate, Bonnie dedicates her time to her family, and philanthropy. She is the proud founder of the American Born Chinese Foundation, a nonprofit public charity that delivers free bilingual children's books to families in the United States.
Bonnie also sits as the President of the Alpha Epsilon Phi sorority's Los Angeles alumnae group. Their organization works closely with Sharsharet, a Jewish breast cancer organization.
Bonnie is an advocate for children's education, literacy, and has a passion for art, culture, and international travel. She loves a good challenge, and is made for business deal-making.
